Project Manager (Russian Speaking) – Russia

LOCATION

 

  • St. Petersburg, Russia

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop and present for approval the project charter and the project execution plan;

  • Develop working relationship with management, client, steering committee and other stakeholders, suppliers and contractors;

  • Initiate and lead the project set-up phase including: project procedure development, recruitment of the team members, team building, etc.;

  • Manage the project execution phase through close out while maintaining the project objectives (Time, Cost, Quality, Client Satisfaction);

  • Handle technical issues, solve problems, technical audits, and interface with clients, subcontractors and authorities;

  • Manage/ assign/ control budget, tradeoffs and costs, monitor product design/ test, progress reports, contract negotiations, proposal analysis, manage risks, QA/QC and HSSE, interpret all kinds of findings within the project progress;

  • Carefully monitor the progress of a project from preliminary design through installation to commissioning;

  • Handle personnel issues and staffing.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

At least 15 years of proven successful record in the following areas:

  • Construction Management of multi-disciplinary mega-projects of at least 500 million USD preferred in construction of Chemical Plants or Oil Refineries under EPCM and Turnkey contracts;

  • Experienced in Engineering Management of design, engineering, interface with consultants and technology suppliers and integration/ coordination of multidisciplinary systems;

  • Experienced in Project management including: projects procedure development, scope management, planning and scheduling, cost control and risk management;

  • Practical experience in Procurement including commercial negotiations with contractors and international equipment suppliers (preferred also in the CIS), expediting and supervision - is a must;

  • A thorough understanding of Quality Control and Quality issues resolution;

  • Continuous commitment to HSSE;

  • B.Sc, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering;

  • M.Sc Engineering and/or MBA (or other Business Administration degrees) are desired;

  • Graduated from an accredited University;

  • Fluency in English and Russian;

  • Knowledge of following software: MS Project/ Primavera- Scheduling.
