Must possess competency for Hazardous areas as ATEX Directive is in place for E & I, the qualification recognized for competency is CompEX.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree (Electrical);
10 – 12 years of experience.
DETAILED EXPERIENCE
Should have worked on Refinery/ Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas plants project sites in QA/QC field, preferably as TPI or clients representative;
Should have inspection experience for electrical items such as: power and control cables, cable trays, wiring, lighting, motors, relay/ limit etc., switches, switch gear, control panels, verify flame proof construction and certification of electrical items suitable for usage in hazardous area etc including review of ITP, receipt inspection, review of FAT reports and manufacturers QC documents, storage inspection, preservation controls, cables routing, support system, laying, glanding and termination inspection and witness of megger test, high voltage test, insulation and continuity test etc, provision of earthing and check for continuity and resistance, witness of no load and function test during installation, heat tracing check, punch listing, witness of pre commission tests etc.
