QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The job holder must have:
Higher Education Diploma/ Degree qualification in Engineering or 10 years experience in Oil & Gas Industry;
Minimum 10 years experience working in Material Management, preferably within a Production & Maintenance Operation in the Oil & Gas industry;
CMMS Implementation/Management/ Support (preferably SAP) as desirable experience;
Computer literate (MS Office suite knowledge) plus MSWinProject;
Data Management;
Knowledge of local and international codes and regulations regarding Oil & Gas systems and equipment;
Medical Certificate of Fitness;
Valid BOSIET Certificate (Basic Offshore Safety Induction& Emergency Training) or equivalent;
Previous experience in Caspian Area would be beneficial.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Atyrau (Kazakhstan) premises;
Position will be required for periodic visit to onshore and offshore site.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job holder is responsible for:
Analyze project documentation like P&ID, SPILs, Maintenance Manual, Operating Manual, Data Sheets, etc.
Identify quantity of Capital, Operational and Consumable Spares to ensure plant facilities production on the basis of:
OEM recommendation;
Industry norms;
Preventive and corrective maintenance;
Personal experience and best practice.
Optimize warehouse Stock and Material Management;
Support the 2Y&Capital spare parts procurement process;
Optimize the short and long term Spare parts requirement;
Identify alternative spare having better operational life than proposed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM);
Liaise/ work within the operations & maintenance TA groups and cross-functional groups to ensure an effective and efficient optimisation review and outcome.
Assure the continuous improvement of the Spare Part Identification and Level Stock following any Field feedback;
Review SPIL for equipment, rectify any technical data discrepancies and convert into Espir’s format which are required for upload into the MM as a module of SAP Blue Print;
Confirm 2 year Operations & Capital spares quantities;
Define Long term Operational spares requirement;
Define Min/ max levels for all safety and production critical equipment;
Assist with the scope of work for material contracts;
Agree and support the process for procuring spares.
